WE ARE OFFICIALLY OUT OF BOTH THE FLUMIST AND INJECTABLE FLU VACCINE FOR CHILDREN AGES 3 YEARS AND UP. We DO have injectable flu vaccine for children ages 6-35 months.
THE SATURDAY WALK-IN FLU CLINIC SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 19TH HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO A SHORTAGE AND DELAYED SHIPMENT OF THE INJECTABLE FLU VACCINE FOR CHILDREN AGES 3 YRS AND UP! The next Saturday walk-in flu clinic has been rescheduled for November 2nd from 9:00 am - 12 noon. We still have FluMist available for children ages 4 years and up, and injectable vaccine for children 6-35 months of age.
We have both Quadrivalent FluMist and injectable flu vaccine.
Now scheduling weekday appointments for high risk and healthy children.
Infants and children six months and older may get the injectable vaccine and healthy children, who do not have asthma or wheezing, ages 4 years and up are eligible for the FluMist.
The improved vaccine for the 2013-14 season provides protection against four influenza strains instead of three. Because there is a new procedural code for billing, the insurance companies may deny payment, especially early in the season.
You will be responsible for the payment if the claim is denied. The cost of FluMist is $35 and the injectable vaccine is $30.
